Yesterday I Cut My Own Hair With A Leatherman Scissors Attachment...

Actually it was Friday, I think. I believe my day went something like this:

4:00 AM - Go to bed after previous night's rabble-rousing at After 8.
11:00 AM - Crawl out of bed. Put laundry in washing machine to begin two hour washing cycle.
11:05 AM - Decide I really need a haircut.
11:08 AM - Wonder if I could cut my hair myself.
11:10 AM - Wonder how sharp scissors attachment on my little Orange Leatherman Juice S2 is.
11:15 AM - Decide to try them out. Cheaper than and just as risky as going to salon.
12:15 PM - Walk to Mohammad Souraire salon in the Four Seasons to get my brows threaded for approximately $6.75 USD including tip. Go to pharmacy to buy Retin-A without a prescription for approximately $3.50 USD.
1:00 PM - Hang laundry to dry on crappy rusty drying rack. Spend rest of afternoon reading approximately one and a half pages of Arabic and feeding myself useless online trivia.
4:00 PM - Pass out for extended nap.
6:00 PM - Wake up and return to feeding myself useless online trivia.
9:00 PM - Trek out to Zamalek apt. of fellow CASA colleagues for dinner. Won a couple games of backgammon and watched "Shaun of the Dead" for the third time.
1:00 AM - ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

And in case you're wondering, I haven't gotten so many compliments about my hair in years. Go figure.
